1. Day Trader - usually describes a person who enters into and exits positions several times per day. The critical feature is that they never hold a position “overnight”.
2. Swing Trader - hold a position anywhere from a day to weeks or months before taking profits, exiting with a loss or otherwise adjusting their positions.
3. Intra-day scalp trading - particularly short-term form of day trading. It is generally based on technical analysis of indicators such as moving averages, MACD, momentum oscillators, Fibonacci sequences, etc. Trades are often held only for minutes at a time, and sometimes even shorter than that.
Which type forex trader you are?.. Myself maybe type 3 but i add martingle style in my system.
